Last June 19-20, 2023 took place the Marine Technology Workshop, http://martech-workshop.org/, at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) in Castelló, an event co-organized by CIRTESU and the SARTI group of the UPC.

UiB, UdG and UPC participated in the conference with the presentation of several publications related to the activities carried out in the framework of the PLOME project, such as the acquisition, processing and analysis of images for the identification of marine species, the implementation of monitoring systems for bottom stations using pop-up buoys.

One of the plenary lectures was given by Dr. Pere Ridao from UdG, also a participant in the PLOME project, the presentation was entitled Advances in Underwater Robotics Operations.

Iqua Robotics has participated in the event as a sponsor, who also sponsored the award "Best student article in the field od mobile robotics and its applications".
