Enoc Martínez, Daniel Mihai Toma and Joaquín del Río, members of SARTI, gave in the first edition of the EMSO Time Series Conference (EMSO TSC), the training Requirements and methods for the production of time series of ocean noise; FAIRness of acoustic data, standard formats” focused on achieving practical solutions for the production, analysis and effective exchange of time series of underwater environmental noise that comply with the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD).

The first edition of the EMSO Time Series Conference took place from October 20 to 22 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In this first edition, of which SARTI was part of the organizing and scientific committee, the aim was to inform and train the oceanic scientific community on the latest advances in the detection and monitoring of underwater noise for both environmental and industrial purposes.
