On 21 and 22 September, from OBSEA-UPC we participated in the 1st meeting of the Spanish Monitoring Network in Mallorca, organized by IMEDEA colleagues. The Spaninsh Tracking Network is a national network of marine wildlife conservation experts that uses electronic devices to track various species. This is part of the European Tracking Network (ETN), a pan-European initiative to integrate all aquatic animal monitoring into a single network, which is included in the international context of existing initiatives. ETN aims to include all animal biotelemetry systems used in all aquatic environments in Europe.
